Free Trial Period
- New individual subscribers receive a 7-day free trial to evaluate our service
- You may cancel during the trial period without any charges
- Cancellation must be completed before the trial period ends to avoid billing
Refund Eligibility
7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee for new paid subscriptions:
- Available only for your first paid subscription to Lexica
- Request must be made within 7 days of your first payment
- Full refund will be processed if you are not satisfied with the service
- Access to the service will be terminated upon refund processing
Service Interruption Refunds
Refunds may be provided for significant service interruptions:
- Service outages lasting more than 48 consecutive hours
- Failure to deliver newsletters for more than 3 consecutive business days
- Pro-rated refunds based on the duration of the interruption
Billing Error Refunds
- Duplicate charges or incorrect billing amounts
- Charges after successful cancellation
- Unauthorized charges due to system errors
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:
- After the 7-day satisfaction guarantee period has expired
- For partial months of service usage
- If your account has been terminated for violation of our Terms of Service

- For organization plans where individual users are dissatisfied (refunds apply to the entire organization account)

Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the subscription

- You will receive confirmation when the refund has been processed
Cancellation vs. Refund
Important distinction:
- Cancellation: Stops future billing but does not refund current period
- Refund: Returns payment for current billing period and cancels service
- You can cancel at any time through your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
Organization Plan Refunds
- Refund requests must be made by the primary account holder
- Refunds apply to the entire organization subscription
- Individual seat refunds are not available
- Same 7-day satisfaction guarantee applies to organization plans
- Wire transfer payments: Organization plans paid via wire transfer are not eligible for refunds, only cancellations
Currency and Processing Fees
- Refunds are processed in the original currency of payment
- Stripe processing fees are not refundable
- Currency conversion fees (if any) are not refundable
Exceptional Circumstances
We may consider refunds outside of this policy in exceptional circumstances such as:
- Extended service outages beyond our control
- Significant changes to service features or coverage
- Documented billing system errors
Such cases will be evaluated individually at our discretion.
