Hi everyone,
I'm writing to let you know about a change to your newsletter. Starting Monday, March 16, Lexica is becoming MongolBeat.
Why the change? When I started Lexica, the idea was to cover news across several countries. In practice, almost all of you subscribe for Mongolia coverage, and that's where I've been putting all my energy. Rather than maintain the fiction of a multi-country platform, I'm making it official: this is a Mongolia newsletter, and the name should reflect that.
MongolBeat was actually the original name for this project before I rebranded to Lexica, so in a way we're coming full circle.
What changes for you:
- The website moves from lexica.news to mongolia.robertritz.com
- The old URL will redirect, so your bookmarks still work
- You'll sign in with the same email address (magic link, same as before)
- Your billing stays exactly the same, no action needed
- Daily and weekly briefings continue on the same schedule
What doesn't change:
- Same coverage of Mongolian news, politics, economics, and business
- Same daily briefings every weekday morning
- Same weekly roundup every Friday
- Same 13+ Mongolian news sources monitored daily
- Full searchable archive of all past issues
Other country newsletters (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kygryzstan, and Vietnam) are being discontinued. If you were subscribed to those, I appreciate your readership. Mongolia is where the demand is, and I'd rather do one thing well. If you liked those services and wish to cancel I can process a pro-rated refund if you would like (email me at [email protected]).
The new site has a simpler design, faster search, and the same content you're used to for Mongolia. Take a look when it goes live on Monday.
Thank you for reading. Some of you have been with me since the beginning, and I don't take that for granted.
Robert
